Chicago Great Danes was created to build a supportive and welcoming community for Great Dane owners, admirers, and their beloved pups throughout the Chicagoland area. Our mission is simple: to celebrate the joy of living with these gentle giants and to create meaningful opportunities for them—and their humans—to connect. 

Through regular meet-ups, events, and an active online presence, we aim to: 

• Foster socialization for Great Danes in safe, dog-friendly environments 

• Support owners by sharing tips, resources, and experiences unique to the breed 

• Promote responsible ownership and breed awareness 

• Celebrate milestones and spotlight the unique personalities of our Danes (#FeatureFridays - show off your Dane!)

• Build community among those who understand the quirks (and size!) of these lovable companions
